Static Voltage Stabilizer is an IGBT-based PWM type buck-boost voltage stabilizer that offers tight regulation and fast correction speed — capabilities impossible to achieve using conventional methods such as servo voltage stabilizers, SCR / triac type stabilizers, and relay-type stabilizers.
This is especially useful in places that require very fast correction speed, constant output voltage, overload current limiting, short-circuit protection, soft start, high-voltage cut-off and low-voltage cut-off, automatic bypass, no wear and tear, long life, and maintenance-free operation — benefits not possible with conventional relay-type or servo control stabilizers.
Since the circuit is fully solid-state (with no mechanical or moving parts), it avoids wear and tear such as brush deterioration in servo stabilizers or relay degradation found in relay-based stabilizers.
